Exporting All Google+ Photo Auto Backup

I generally use Android phones for my personal use, and all my camera rolls and WhatsApp images are automatically backed up in my Google+ Photos (of course I have enabled the auto backup!).

It's been a while, I had not cleaned the backup, and it was taking about 11 GB of my Google Drive Storage! I really need to down those Pics to use my Google Drive for work purpose. This might be the case with you as well when you want to download all the pics from Google+ to free up the Google Drive space.

So, you can free up space by selecting the pics and downloading, and then delete the downloaded pics! You can do it from https://plus.google.com/photos

But this way, you can do only 500 pics at once. So, that's the limitation...

The easier and less time-consuming way is to open https://takeout.google.com/settings/takeout and select whatever data you want to download

Now, select the compression format to download the data, and the delivery method where the data will be stored.

Once you click to create an Archive, the data will be compressed and will be available for download. And if the data is large, the archive will be divided into multiple parts to be downloaded.
Now you just need to take care that each part of the archive could be downloaded only 5 times. In case your download fails 5 times, you can go through the complete process again!

I hope the information I have shared will help you. If it has helped you and you like my post, please share and comment. Also, please share your feedback with me, it will help me improve my blog and provide you with better information.
