Ill Song of the day: Fleetwood Mac Gold Dust Woman

So Stylish

While contemplating how I was going to go about saving the world today, I kept singing the lyrics, "Does she make you cry.." and I was like, "Who sings that song? You know those days where you can't get a particular song out of your head, and so you have to look for it? Well thanks to the wonderful world of the internet and Youtube particularly, I was able to find it, and bam, it's Fleetwood Mac's Gold Dust Woman. I have always considered myself a fan ever since growing up and my Mother playing some of their songs (once again, thanks Mom). Gold Dust Woman has this harmony that builds up and just explodes on you. The hook, like in many other Fleetwood Mac songs is hella addictive - you cannot get it out of your mind (They were and are some of the great chorus writers in music history). I started listening to it and at first I thought it was about someone kicking a rotten lover to the curb, but from what I hear, it is about kicking the habit, which makes Gold Dust Woman even doper (no pun intended). Like many of Fleetwood Mac's songs (my fave being Dreams - I love that song) you are gonna be humming it all day. Next step, add it to the Ipod.

"Did she make you cry, make you breakdown, shatter your illusions of love..."
I love me some Stevie Nicks.
