UNBOXING & FIRST IMPRESSIONS
Oh well, the Oulm is another one of those watches that come in a piece of plastic bag, without a box… Nothing to see here, no extras were given as well, let’s move on.

BUILD & ERGONOMICS
While the packaging of this watch may be… simple, the build of this watch is actually pretty solid, and overall a pretty decent watch.
THE DESIGN
The design of this watch is kind of funky… Makes me wonder if this watch has an identity crisis. I mean, that tiny rectangular box absolutely looks more like a mini clock than a watch. But if you look past that little quirk otherwise, this is actually a pretty decent looking watch. It sure is not an “eye candy” or “head turner”, but it works.
BUILD QUALITY
The build of the watch case is rock solid, made out of stainless steel. It sure feels strong enough to survive some punishments… like an alarm clock. But the bad part is, this watch is not water resistant… Not even one bit. I am guessing that this Oulm does not have any sealing at all, so keep it out of the rain.
WATCH MOVEMENT
Quartz movement, triple watch faces, triple time zones, with a crown for each one… That is like having 3 clocks in one, and I am not sure about having the need to put 3 on one small watch. Maybe this is good for people who travel a lot, but otherwise, the quartz movement is smooth and accurate. Don’t seem to have a lot of problems.
STRAPS
The straps are one thing that I like about this watch. They are definitely of a higher quality, unlike the other cheap China watches; They don’t have that “destructible” fake rubbery powdery leather feel, they just feel like good denim.

CONCLUSION
While I personally do not quite like the idea of wearing a rectangular “clock-like watch”, it does not mean that the Oulm is a bad one. It sure does not have a designer’s touch, but it is a still an overall well-built good watch. Affordably priced too; Maybe some of you guys have a different view and find this watch interesting – It is still a mighty decent watch given the price.
