It’s the most wonderful time of the year! Christmas, again? Nope! Time for the Nordstrom Annual Winter Clearance, everybody! Which means up to 40% off on everything through February 25. Don’t miss out! Below, I’ve listed some of my favorites from the sale. Enjoy!
Outerwear
Boy, is now the time to buy outerwear. Everything is on sale. It’s like buying Christmas decorations after Christmas. Brilliant. I love the cropped trench, and I’m obsessed with the puffer coats. Of course, a pink furry thing made it in there because, hello, I’m me.
Jeans
Here’s my feeling on jeans: I wore mid-range jeans for most of my life (Gap, Old Navy, etc.). It wasn’t until I moved to Los Angeles that I started buying higher end brands. And oh my god, is there a difference. I would much rather spend my money on one good pair of jeans that three kind of okay pairs. The fit is so much better, they last longer, and you will want to wear them at all times.
Tops
Okay, so clearly I have a specific style that I like. Off the shoulder shirts and message tees are my jam. I’m still a teenager on the inside. But seriously, so many cute T-shirts in here, and I just had to throw in the Cleveland Cavaliers! That one’s definitely going home with me.
Dresses
So these are a little all over the place, and admittedly there are a couple of dresses on here that my body type cannot personally wear. However, that doesn’t mean they’re not my favorites. And of course, there are some off the shoulders in here. Guys, I’m obsessed.
Shoes
Confession time: I am very vanilla these days when it comes to my footwear. Throw me in a pair of sneakers or UGG boots, and I’m happy as a clam. I don’t know if it’s the nerve problem I have in my feet or just getting older, but I’m definitely not as adventurous as I used to be. I did throw in some pink floofy stuff, though, just for kicks.
Jewelry
Clearly, I’m a little partial to pink, here. I am seriously digging all the fringe going on this season, guys. But, and my generation is going to think this is a betrayal, I cannot with the chokers again this time around. Probably spent too much time fighting with those beaded ones that threatened to cut off my air supply in the ’90s. And of course, I had to include the “In Dog We Trust” necklace because, you know.
Bags
Shut up, with these bags, they are so cute! I love a classic black Kate Spade tote, and the owl purse for when I’m feeling a bit whimsical. And, you know, the cat purse. Duh.
Beauty
Honestly? There wasn’t a lot of stuff I liked in the beauty section, so I scrapped it. Hope you’re not too disappointed. I didn’t want to recommend things just to have the section on here. Better go to Sephora.

How cute is that picnic basket?! There were several iterations, so check them all out before choosing. And the llama pillow?! Buying. Immediately.
So that about sums it up for my Nordstrom Winter Sale recommendations. As I said, the sale goes until February 25, so you have about a week to decide (not just limited to President’s Day). Get out there and do some updating! I know my credit card is about to get a hefty workout ;).
