Motorola is reportedly expected to launch a new set of smartphones from its latest G series at the MWC (Mobile World Congress) this month. The phones that are expected to launch soon are the Moto G6, Moto G6 Plus and Moto G6 Play. These smartphones are also rumoured to have codenames Blaine, Teller and Ashley respectively.

Out of the three smartphones, the specifications of the Moto G6 Play mobile have surfaced on Geekbench. Last year, known tipster Evan Blass revealed that the Moto G6 Play mobile will launch with the Moto G6 and G6 Plus smartphones. Recently, he also tweeted revealing the codenames of the upcoming Motorola smartphones.

Moto G6 Play: Specifications

According to the reports, the Moto G6 Play will launch with a 5.7-inch HD display with a screen resolution of 720 x 1280 pixels. Under the hood, the phone will be powered by a Snapdragon 430 processor coupled with 3GB of RAM. The phone will run on Android 8.0 Oreo and will be backed by a powerful 4000mAh battery.

Additionally, the score for the multi-core performance and single-core performance on the Moto G6 Play are 1801 and 472 respectively. Moto G6 is expected to be a much more toned down and a budget version of the Moto G6 and G6 Plus. The last time the company launched a Play variant was the Moto G4 Play.

Coming to the Moto G6 and Moto G6 Plus, both the mobiles are most like to sport a 3D glass back design with 18:9 aspect ratio. Both the smartphones will flaunt the fingerprint scanner on the front panel. On the other hand, the Moto G6 Play will come with the fingerprint sensor on the rear panel.

Moto G6: Specifications

Moto G6 will sport a screen size of 5.7-inch with Full HD+ display. Under the hood, it will be powered by a Snapdragon 430 SoC and backed by a 3000mAh battery. Furthermore, the phone will come in two storage variants. The 3GB RAM variant will sport an internal memory of 32GB. And the 4GB RAM variant will sport an internal memory of 64GB.

Moto G6 Plus: Specifications

Moto G6 will sport a screen size of 5.93-inch with Full HD+ display. Under the hood, it will be powered by a Snapdragon 630 SoC and backed by a 3200mAh battery. Furthermore, the phone will come in three storage variants. The storage variants will include 3GB RAM with 32GB internal storage, 4GB RAM with 64GB internal storage and 6GB RAM with 64GB internal storage. Moto G6 Plus will be one of the latest mobiles to launch with 6GB RAM variant.
