Had an amazing time taking the 2017 Lexus IS up to Oakhurst California, near Yosemite. I owned the Lexus RX300 for about 10 years and was definitely a big fan of the brand. That RX300 was a beast! I'm a bad driver and crashed it many times and it probably would have still lasted me many good years.
The Lexus IS is a sleek little machine and zipped up from Los Angeles all the way up to our cabin. It also had a cool 'snow' button feature that helped us navigate around the icy terrain really well. Although the IS is one of Lexus's smaller vehicles, it offered quite a spacious back seat and trunk space which I appreciated!
I really loved this little shelf that is just below the navigation screen. You can kind of see it in the photo below. The bluetooth system was also very easy to set up. I liked the old school watch clock below instead of a standard digital clock, definitely added an extra style element to the machine.
I also loved that the Lexus had not only heating seat options but cooling seat options! This is a great feature for the hot upcoming summer weather in California. I can already predict that its going to be a long, ultra hot summer!
