Why I object to Cathy Warwick being on the New Years Honours List

Cathy Warwick was the CEO of the midwifery trade union (Royal College of Midwives) and instigated a policy for the union to officially be in favour of abortion on demand for any reason up to birth. She has recently been made a Dame of the order of the British Empire in the New Year’s Honours List. This is a complete disgrace.

As Peter D. Williams mentions on twitter, it describes how corrupt and out-of-touch the political elite  of this country are. It is a sickening abuse of the Honours system.

Do read my article on the Royal Family and the Pro-life movement here.  Gill Greer in 2012 was made a Commander of the Order of the British Empire (CBE) as a former director general of International Planned Parenthood Federation.

Andrew Percy, a Conservative member of the House of Commons Health Select Committee, called Cathy Warwick’s former role as the chief executive of the RCM and the chairwoman of the BPAS board of trustees as a “conflict of interest.”

Cathy Warwick faced mounting pressure to resign after it emerged she failed to consult members or mention her decision to the board of the RCM to back a campaigns which wants to allow abortion right up until birth.

The decriminalisation of abortion would allow for a range of abuses - misogynistic, eugenic and cruel to take place.
