Join Google Student Ambassador GSAs Program 2014

Google Student Ambassador Program conducted by Google is available in multiple regions around the world
It is available for all students from computer science, to anthropology, to business, to zoology!
Any full-time undergraduate/postgraduate student can apply. Google Ambassadors have previously been from a variety of disciplines like Business, Law etc. and not only Computer Science and Engineering. 

Google Student Ambassadors (GSAs) are leaders of Campus who spread awareness about efficient use of technology among university students, in their academics and daily lives as well to create good social impact in their universities and communities across their region.


GSAs can act as liaisons between Google and their universities . He/She can plan and host several events during the school year, introduce students,youths,elders to new Google products,services,features & innovative ideas and act as a bridge between campus and Google teams.




What if you Become a Google Student Ambassador
You will be able to strengthen your professional career development and build a strong CV/Resume. 

Apart from these, you can enhance all hidden leadership skills in you and become eligible to participate in Google special events, product trainings,bootcamps,entertainment & technical based Sessions, Google Webinars and internships. 


Google Ambassadors have the opportunity to enhance their professional development, leadership, and communication skills, and access to a unique network of Google Ambassadors across the world .


You can have an opportunity boost you professional development and skills, interact with some interesting people around Google, and have fun introducing Google products, like Google Apps for Education, Google Maps, Adwords, YouTube and more, to fellow students by holding events on your campus and at other places too.

Who can be an ideal Student Ambassador ,the one who can

  • Enrolled in full-time undergraduate/postgraduate study
  • Available 10 hours per month to spend on Google evangelist work
  • Familiar with Google products including but not limited to Google Docs, Chrome, Search, and YouTube
  • An active Google+ user
  • Involved with student organizations and activities
  • passionate about technology and able to conduct events and manage a budget.
  • actively involved in student life on your campus

So if you are a student leader, or if you’re looking to create an impact on your campus , then Google has started application process for its ambassador program all over the world including INDIA. 

HOW TO APPLY

[1] Create a video (max. 1 minute)
• about yourself or about your plans as a GSA
[2] Upload the video on YouTube and copy the link (into the registration form)
[3] Fill out the registration form .
[4] Question “What is your favorite Google product? What would you do to improve it?” (max. 150 words)
[5] Question “Why do you want to become Google’s Student Ambassador?” (max. 150 words)
[6] Proof of enrolment at your university (a must!)
- get a letter stamped and signed by student affairs department stating you will be a student in 2013/2014 at their university
[7] Recommendation Letter (optional)
- from 1 or 2 professors, lecturers, tutors, former Google Ambassadors, employers etc
