ACI’s mission is to nurture their students in a hands-on learning environment. By providing them with the knowledge to foster fulfilling careers, ACI also helps students to develop and hone the interpersonal skills necessary for any career in the medical and dental industries. Graduate Carlos Madera summed up how the courses at ACI impacted him, how “They say ‘fake it until you make it’, but because of ACI Medical & Dental School, I am prepared. I am able to reach my next goal and I believe I am a better person”. Mr. LeGrand’s story of hope and resilience resonated with the graduates, as for many of the students at ACI is a new beginning. As a renowned national motivational speaker, Mr. LeGrand gave the graduates inspiring parting advice as they enter the next chapter of their lives, saying, “Going forward from now, you’re going to be dealing with patients and life. I always try to tell people that while it’s important to be able to pay your bills and everything, never do the job just for the paycheck. Do the job for the patient.”
Beyond learning the value of their roles in the medical field to patients, graduates found a second family at ACI. “The best news is, we got through it all, and are here together for this day. I am proud to say that many of you here, I can call lifelong friends, as well as business associates because of the experiences we accomplished together.” Sherrie Bradley said after speaking about the challenges her and her classmates faced and overcame together. ACI is an environment of encouragement and challenges, which fosters inspired and experienced graduates that go on to lead successful careers using the training and education they received from the school’s staff.
