IIST B.Tech Admission 2019 Important Dates

UNDERGRADUATE COURSES:

IIST 2019 Application Procedure

1. Firstly, the candidates need to submit the Online Application Form through the official website.
2. Also, there is no offline application.
3. Then, the candidates have to submit all the asked details (personal, academic, communication), details of JEE Advanced Examination and other required details.
4. Next, the applicants need to submit their recent photograph, signature, medical certificate (only for PWD category candidates) and caste certificate (if applicable).
5. And, the applicants can pay the application fee through Bank Challan of any branch of State Bank of India or Union Bank of India.
6. Further, the aspirants should upload the scanned image of Challan payment.
7. Finally, after submission, the candidates should take a printout of application form and keep it safe for future reference.

Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology Application Fee

1. Firstly, the application fee for Undergraduate Courses will be Rs. 250 per department (for general category candidates) and Rs. 125 per department (for SC / ST / PWD / Women).
2. But, the application fee for Postgraduate Courses will be Rs. 600 per department (for male candidates of General / OBC category) and Rs. 300 per department (for female candidates of General / OBC / SC / ST / PWD category).
3. Further, this application fee is non-refundable.
4. And, the applicants can make this application fee payment through Challan from any branch of State Bank of India or Union Bank of India.
5. Also, Non-Residential Indian candidates can make the application fee payment through DD.
6. Moreover, the Demand Draft should be in favour of “Registrar, IIST” to be payable at Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala, India.

Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology

Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology (IIST), Thiruvananthapuram is a Deemed to be University (under Section 3 of the UGC Act 1956). IIST is an autonomous body under the Department of Space, Government of India. There are around 560 students studying in Undergraduate courses and around 160 students are pursuing M.Tech/Master of Science. Whereas over one hundred PhD scholars are pursuing research courses in the campus. The IIST campus is fully residential for students. IIST, Thiruvananthapuram is spread over 100 acres and is located in one of the most scenic places in Kerala, very near the majestic mountain range of Western Ghats.
