Indian Space Research Organisation will yet again create a record. Isro is all set to launch 104 Satellites through its workhorse PSLV-C37.
Actually, ISRO had planned to launch 83 satellites in January. But it got postponed to February.

Here are the few interesting things about the launch:
-320-tonne rocket named Polar Satellite Launch Vehicle shall launch all 104 satellites simultaneously on 15th February at 9 a.m from the Satish Dhawan Space Centre in Sriharikota in Andhra Pradesh.
-These 104 satellites include- three Indian satellites, 88 American satellites, and the rest are from Israel, Kazakhstan, Netherlands, Switzerland and UAE.
– Cartosat-2 series, INS-IA and INS-1B are three Indian satellites.
– ISRO shall become the first space agency to launch such large number of satellites beating 37 satellites launch record of Russia in June 2014.

Until December 2016, ISRO’s PSLV has successfully launched 39 satellites out of which 37 satellites reached their destination yielding a success rate of 95%.
Few historic payloads launched by PSLV are India’s first lunar probe Chandrayaan-1, Mangalyaan.
