Actually, I had wanted to have my own cat again for a long time. However, there was always something that kept me from fulfilling me this wish. After my last cat had to be put to sleep in May 2011, I decided to get a Baby Cat about half a year later. As I still had a couple of bookings for the next few weeks, I wanted to wait until after my birthday party. However, everything went faster than I could have imagined. I found a super cute little cat which the former owner even brought to me because they were far away and I have no car.
The Baby cat was 9 1/2 weeks old and I named her Leonie. She is really cute but she is totally sly, too! Well, she is still very little and playful and I will have to show her what she is allowed to do and what not.. However, this will not be easy because like every cat she has a mind of her own...
The problem was that I had to tell all my next guests, that there would be a baby cat in my apartment because you never know if someone is allergic to cat hair or even afraid of cats. Susanne and Anna Lisa, my guests from Bielefeld, had no problem with it and had been accepted by Leonie immediately. Obviously, Leonie loves to play with people's feet which can on the one hand tickle but on the other hand, if you're not wearing socks or shoes, be quite painful. After they had arrived on October 27, they quickly went to see some friends in town.
On Friday, the girls headed to the castle and the philosopher's path because the weather was great and they wanted to see a lot of the towns and cities they visited this weekend (Nuremberg and Munich were also on their route).
In the evening I decided to join them and go out with them to the Untere Straße in Heidelberg. We have been to the Jinx bar which I really liked because it was not as overcrowded as the other bars in that street on the weekends.
In order to meet a couple of people they know and to drink a melon schnapps, we went to the Destille bar. I didn't feel that well after about an hour because it was too crowded for me in there, so I went home as my mom and her husband wanted to visit me the next day, too, and I wanted to be fit.
On Saturday, Susanne and Anna Lisa went on to go to Munich. After their visit I had one week without any guests. The following are pictures of Leonie as well as the girls from Bielefeld.
