I recently returned from a 6 month wilderness adventure. As part of the Trip we decided to try to get some sponsors for our gear and food. In addition we planned to conduct the trip as a fundraiser for a local charity.

We did well with the sponsorship - it covered thousands of dollars of our gear and food, but it still cost us quite a bit. The fundraiser also went well. Overall, we could have done better in both arenas if I knew then what I know now. So I've decided to create this Blog to share what I've learned with whomever may be interested. I believe the approach will work for long distance hiking, long distance cycling and even expeditions. Please feel free to ask me questions I really would like to share some of this knowledge I've acquired over the last year and a half.



I'll be adding a bit each day. Because I'm writing this at work I won't have time to explain everything at once.
