Hasanamba Temple

Hasanamba is a Hindu temple located in Hassan, dedicated to goddess shakti. Tourists are only allowed to visit this temple once in a year during Deepavali in the month of October.  The temple is believed to be constructed around the 12th century, and open for one week in a year. For the remaining days, the Goddess is left with a lit lamp, flowers, water and two bags of rice as offering until the next year. 




Chennakeshava Temple, Belur

Chennakeshava temple is situated on the banks of Yagachi river. The architecture and sculptures in the Chennakeshava temple has a remarkable place in history. The artworks depict the life of that century including dancers and musicians, which are the main tourist attractions here.


Lakshmi Devi Temple, Doddagaddavalli
