There are over 10,000 miles of shoreline in the US, and millions of RVers descend on US campgrounds with beaches on these shorelines each year. The sunny skies, rolling waves, and sandy beaches of these shorelines can be enjoyed not only along the Pacific and Atlantic.
The parks with shorelines on the plentiful lakes and rivers sprinkled across the US were not excluded from this list. USA’s Best Beachfront Campgrounds
Lake Pepin Campground
This campground and motel is located a short walk from the widest lake on the Mississippi River: Lake Pepin. Despite being a fairly large campground with 200 sites and 32 motel rooms, it maintains a friendly, small park feel. In addition to being right by Lake Pepin, the park is also close to Villa Bellezza Winery. Come to this Wisconsin campground during the summer to make the most of its beautiful, clean lake.
Hidden Lake Paradise Campground

Hidden Lakes Paradise Campground in Plymouth, Indiana might be hidden, but its lake is not. As the main attraction of the park, the lake is chalk full of Blue Gill, Catfish, and Bass, making it great for fishing. It also includes a playground and covered pavilion and has a foosball, ping-pong, pool, and more. You can enjoy weekly events there like potlucks, games, and themed activities.
Collins Lake Recreation Area

Collins Lake is located in beautiful Browns County, California, an hour Northeast of Sacramento. It’s the perfect spot for fishing, boating, canoeing, kayaking, and relaxing on the large, sandy, swimming beach. The 1,600-acre lake has 12 miles of shoreline and is home to big bass and tons of trophy trout. In fact, with over 50,000 trout planted into the lake every year, Collins Lake has the largest private planting program in Northern California.
