It’s been a long journey.
Fortnite’s mysterious Cube has plunged into the depths of Loot Lake where it quickly dissolved and turned the entire lake into one giant bounce field.

Today at 1PM PT, the cube made its final move and dropped into the lake. As soon as it made contact with the water, the cube began to melt and dissolve. Within a minute, the remains of the cube spread across the entire lake where it quickly crystallized into a flat and bouncy surface.
It’s not clear if this is the end of the cube’s valiant journey or the start of something new.
The cube has been on the move since it first zapped onto the map back on August 24th. Shortly after it’s emergence, the cube began its slow migration moving every thirty minutes or so. The cube started in the desert biome and made its way through Fatal Fields, Wailing Woods, Tilted Towers, and a number of other locations. The cube also left runes in several locations across the map.
