Reader good Saturday morning to you all, I'm praying everyone reading this has a wonderful and marvelous day on today, let's make it great in Jesus precious name.
Chance The Rapper is redefining what it means to be a Christian Rapper by challenging the traditional “Christian hip-hop” genre. Chance The Rapper was a big winner in 2016, and has continued his winning ways throughout 2017. A big part of the wins he's been stacking lately is the success of his Coloring Book project, a project that combines religious themes, gospel music and hip-hop in a way few, if any, projects had before it. But don't label Chance a Christian rapper....he doesn't make Christian raps but he's a Christian who raps. Chance is taking over Ebony magazine, June Black Music Issue.
“This is God’s year. You know, every year is God’s year, but this is a moment of awakening for a lot of people. I’ve just seen a lot of stuff in my own life that has pushed me toward being closer to God and closer to my faith, and it has materialized into success.” Chance The Rapper.
Some are saying that there is a bubble around Chance The Rapper that people are afraid to penetrate, as if critiques are a direct attack against his other work. (Read about that here)
