3 Things I have had to (painfully) accept in 2013

Firstly that at the end of the day, I am officially responsible for the mess and clean up of my workplace. I have learnt that there are certain positions where you could be spared of this Responsibility but not mine at this particular time. While people may be there to encourage you, pledge to be there for you in one way or the other, they in fact only do so to assist you and not to take the final responsibility. They say it directly or indirectly. Worse when things are bad!

Each November, I enjoy serendipity in Flamboyant trees
Secondly that as times moves on, one has to adjust in plans for life in terms of education and career plans. It is a Reality that I have Painfully accepted as most are not comfortable to think about changes to our normal lives. My life is changing because of the years that even our children have. When you see one of your own and the demands/pride on your life, you just have to know time is up for certain things in life and it’s time in for new developments. Being oneself in all these matters has been eye-opening.

Thirdly that God is indeed there to intervene in me subject to my dependence on Him. My open and frank conversations with him take place within the confines of my knowledge of and relationship with Him. I have come to accept that indeed He takes me as I am-no need to take fake joy, happiness, contentment, etc. Going to Him for a chat and open conversations is one of my most memorable lessons in 2013. The Discipline (yes the discipline of going to Him) and the results have been amazing. I am certainly moving on into 2014 and of course even to face anything at no alarm because of that reality and privilege of being with God. He is a friend I have come to accept even more.
