Important Hadith Which tree is like a Muslim ?

This Hadith found in Bukhari and many others Hadith's in many numbers of times that describes the importance of this hadith.

Narrated Ibn 'Umar (RA). Prophet Muhammad (salallahualahiwasallam) said:-

"Amongst the trees, there is a Tree, the leaves of which do not fall and is like a Muslim. Tell me the name of that tree." Everybody started thinking about the trees of the desert areas. And I thought of the date-palm tree but felt shy to answer the others companions of Prophet then asked, "What is that tree, O Allah's Apostle (salallahualahiwasallam) ?
" He replied, "It is the date-palm tree."
Commentary:

Ibn Umar(Ra), when he was just a young boy, says that one day he was sitting with senior Sahaba al Kiram; Rasulullah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) asked the Sahaba, "which tree is like a Muslim and whose leaves do not fall?" The senior Sahaba could not immediately guess about this tree, Ibn Umar(Ra) says that though he was young, he thought that it was the date tree but he did not dare to open his mouth in presence of senior Sahaba, (Ra) then Rasulullah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) himself told them that it was the date tree.

Similarities between a Muslim and the date tree...Many Ulema have suggested many similarities , such as .,Both are straight and upright and resemble in Istiqamat (استقامت) (Enduringness) Both have very deep roots, the roots of the faith ofa Muslim (إيمان) are very deep in his Qalb (Heart).

other Reports:- It is reported in Tirmidhi , Nasai and Ibn Hibban on the authority of Anas (Ra) that once Rasulullah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) recited the verse:-
كَلِمَةً طَيِّبَةً كَشَجَرَةٍ طَيِّبَةٍ أَصْلُهَا ثَابِتٌ وَفَرْعُهَا فِي السَّمَاءِ
A goodly word as a goodly tree, whose root is firmly fixed, and its branches (reach) to the sky (14:24)...!!!

Then he (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) said, "it is date tree".

Each and every part of a date tree is useful, like its fruits, both ripe as well as unripe, Giving its fruit at all times, It is said that it means by day and by night. And they say that describes the believer as a tree that always has fruits during summer and winter, by night and by day. This is the parable of the believer whose good works ascend to heaven by day and by night and at all times,Dates can be consumed in both fresh and dried forms.leaves and stemetc.

It is also used for medicinal purposes,it leaves is also used for shade, even with his dry leaves it is used for creating pots, baskits, and the bottom of the huts.

Similarly every state of a Muslim is useful for him.His eating, drinking, sleeping, walking, earning livelihood are all counted as worship, hence useful for him. Some say that both have male and female genders. Some say that the date tree resembles a man because if its upper part is cut it becomes dead. Some say that both have the attribute of love.

On the other hand we have came to know that The teacher should test his students By getting this Hadith.

the teacher prophet Muhammad (salallahualahiwasallam) should off and on test with his students (companions), put questions before them in a little difficult way. By this the teacher gets an idea of the capability of his students.

Sometimes a junior knows more than his senior.Ibn Umar(Ra) was just ten years old that time and he thought about the right answer whereas it did not strike the senior companions (Ra).

When we departed, after listening to the Hadith I (Ibn Umar) said to his father Umar(Ra), by Allah! I thought that it was the date tree.'
He said, `Why did you not speak then?'

I said, `I saw you were silent and I felt shy to say anything.'
Umar said, `Had you said it, it would have been more precious to me than such things (i.e.,if whole Camels of Arab put on one side and your answer on one side).'' your answer is more beloved to me my son.
From this single Hadith's we get to know the basis of other  different Hadith's such as:-Narrated Sa'd bin Abi Waqqas(Ra):- Allah's Apostle (salallahualahiwasallam)said, "You will be rewarded for whatever you spend for Allah's sake even if it were
a morsel which you put in your wife's mouth."

Narrated Abu Mas'ud(Ra):- The Prophet (salallahualahiwasallam)said, "If a man spends on his family
(with the intention of having a reward from Allah) sincerely for Allah's sake then it is a (kind of) alms-giving in reward for him.

Aa’ishah (may Allah be pleased with her), narrated that Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) said:- “Nothing befalls a believer, a(prick of a) thorn or more than that, but Allah will raise him one degree in status thereby, or erase a bad deed.”

The Messenger of Allah(sallallahu 'alayhi wa sallam) said:-,"Strange is the affair of the mu'min (the believer) verily all his affairs are good for him. If something pleasing befalls him he thanks (Allah) and it becomes better for him. And if something harmful befalls him he is patient (sabir) and it becomes better for him. And this is only for the mu'min."
(All are Narrated by al-Bukhaari)

Abu Dharr(Ra) narrated that some people from among the companions of the Prophet (peace andblessings of Allaah be upon him) said to the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him):-“O Messenger of Allaah, the rich people will get more reward. They pray as we pray, and theyfast as we fast, but they give in Charity from their excess wealth.” He said, “Has not Allaah given you things with which you can give charity? Every tasbeehah
saying ‘Subhaan Allaah (Glory be to Allaah)’ is a charity. Every Takbeerah saying ‘Allaahu akbar(Allaah is Most Great) is a charity.

EveryTahmeedah saying ‘Al-hamdu-Lillaah(praise be to Allaah)’ is a charity. Every Tahleelah saying ‘Laa ilaaha ill-Allaah(there is no god but Allaah) is a charity. Enjoining what is good is a charity. Forbidding what is evil is a charity. Having intercourse (with one’s wife) is a charity.” They said, “O Messenger of Allaah, if one of us fulfils his desire, is there reward in that?” He said, “Do you not see that if he does it in a haraam way he will havethe burden of sin? So if he does it in a halaal way, he will have a reward for that.”.
Ref:- (Narrated by Muslim).

#Narrated that ‘Ali (may Allaah be pleased with him) said:-I heard the Messenger of Allaah (peaceand blessings of Allaah be upon him) say:- “There is no Muslim who visits a (sick) Muslim early in the morning but seventy thousand angels send blessings upon him until evening comes, and if he visits him in the evening, seventy thousand angels send blessings upon him until morning comes, and he will have a garden in Paradise.”
Ref:- (al-Tirmidhi)...!!!

#Abu Dharr (Ra) narrated that the Messenger of Allah (salallahualahiwasallam)said :-"Your smiling in the face of your brother is charity, commanding good and forbidding evil is charity, your giving directions to a man lost in the land is charity for you. Your seeing for a man with bad sight and helping him by giving direction is a charity for you, your removal of a rock, a thorn or a bone from the road is charity for you. Your pouring what remains from your bucket into the bucket of your brother is charity for you."
Ref:-(al-Trimidhi).

conclusion :- Permissible actions may become acts of worship, if there is a sincere intention behind it to be done only for the sake of Allah and according to the Shariah(religious law) and by  following Qur'an and Sunna (lifestyle) of prophet Muhammad(salallahualahiwasallam) we can get innumerable reward from Allah (subhanahowatala) in every way such as Eating, Drinking, keeping the family ties of kinship, smiling, Islamic greetings, spending on children's and wife, taking cares of one's parents, having patience in adverse situations, thanking Allah on getting some blessings and also enjoin what is good and forbid what is evil.... All these things also done by disbelievers but they don't get reward from almighty Allah(subhanahowatala) but being a Muslims Alhamdulillahi we get a tons of reward from almighty Allah (subhanahowatala) and it helps in building our Akhira (hearafter) and to achieve our final goal (destination) jannah.
Thanks for reading!
share it to your dear ones so they could attain reward by knowing being a Muslims is the greatest bounty of Allah subhanahowatala.
