Well, I didn't update weekly like I said I would.  Shame on me.

This blog used to be my way of communication with friends and family.  Now that I review old blogs, I can see that nearly none on my blogroll have been updated in a long time.  However, I know this can be a great way to documenting the happenings of the Kelsey family.

So what has been going on?

Homeschooling with the kids has been going great.  I think Kim is doing a great job and the kids love it.  I like that we can incorporate Lads to Leaders work into easily.  I still miss seeing the kids at school each day, but I know that we made the best decision.  It wasn't an easy decision by all means.  After all, I am a public school teacher that has children out of public schools.  The school I work with is good, but we worried about what the future held in higher grades and what challenges they'd face spiritually.

Softball season is about to start.  I'm excited about getting to coach.  Lila is excited too!  Kim is going to help with Addi's team.  Meanwhile, Levi will stay busy with Karate and Boy Scouts.

Besides all these things, I'm glad that we have a church to be active in.   The kids enjoy their Bible classes, they work hard training in Lads to Leaders, and they have friends to play with.

Life is good.
