Dear friends around the world, I noticed recently that a lot of people have been live-streaming video on Facebook to express themselves. I thought that it was pretty interesting to know that these people are actually ‘live’ and this inspired me to try live-streaming myself. So I told a few students including Pastor Seng Piow and Pastor Jean Ai about it and they helped to set up my computer in order to do this. The first setup was a rudimentary experiment and I gave the live-streaming a test run and somehow, one thing led to another and I ended up talking for three hours on Facebook. The good thing about Facebook live-streaming is the fact that the video is saved and all that I have shared will not disappear. The entire talk has also been uploaded on YouTube so everybody can benefit from this talk. I don’t really like computers and social media but I can see that it is a powerful tool to spread the Dharma.
