TRANSCRIPT I’m from the Tibetan Centre for Human Rights and Democracy. Today we are here at the Dalai Lama College for Higher Education to discuss the upcoming elections. It’s important that journalists take good responsibility of their work. In the newspapers, I read only good stuffs. Tibetan reporters mention how great Tibetans are when it comes to resisting the Chinese. They claim our approach is putting enormous pressure on the Chinese Regime. But what they fail to mention is the strength and resilience of the Chinese regime. It’s important we remain objective when it comes to reporting. I don’t think we need Mps Representing Religious sects. We already have a Department of Religion and Culture. I don’t think MPs representing religious sects can do anything special. We already have sectarian conflict. We don’t want Shugden worshippers to demand seats in the parliament. So, we need to end the system of provincial and religious representations. I want to say a few words on Lukar Jam’s campaign. You know he was denied permission to speak at our college.
