I was doing a bit of thinking, as I often do, and thought of one action that could be both Religious and altruistic. This of course, is dependent on the religion being true, which I think is unlikely, but as a thought experiment, we can make the temporary assumption that it is. The action in question would be the religious person giving up their spot in heaven so that another could take their place. This is the only truly selfless religious action I can think of. Feel free to send me any more if you can think of them.
