The Trinity Doctrine

There is our belief that Christianity is the only true religion, but there are many different ideologies that are involved in the way people perceive it. Part of the issue in the world is not only that there are different religions to choose from, but that there are different doctrines within them, so when it is argued that more than one religion can be true, more than one doctrine can be true to them as well. Even if your sole belief is in the Christian religion, it does not mean that your decision is clear to which doctrine you go by, and it is important to choose the right one, for only one doctrine can be the truth.

Depending on what church or family you grew up in, you may have not determined the correct doctrine at this point. Since I have already covered the false doctrine of the Catholic Church (apostolic succession), it is now time to cover the trinity that can be studied in the bible. It is important to realize that the Torah is the first testament of the bible, and most religious people in that area who don't believe in the trinity are perhaps part of Judaism, but that is not the complete case for bible believing Jews and Christians. However, there may be an element of Judaism that comes along with nontrinitarians. Those who do not believe in the trinity may either be Jewish or part of the Unitarian Church, even bible believing Jews. Many of them know that Jesus was born from the virgin marry, but they believe that Jesus is a being that came down from heaven as one entity, to reveal to them that he is God. But God did not entirely reveal himself as God except to the apostles who found out about the open tomb. Part of what Jesus accomplished was to drag out his death on the cross to give his chosen ones the option to believe in him as God.

Trinitarians know him as the son of God, who is the same as the father, because in order for Jesus to give his chosen people the option to believe in him, he must not completely reveal himself. Also, when Jesus did come to save on earth, God has to remain in heaven at the same time. Nontrinitarians may think that it is impossible for him to be on earth and in heaven at the same time, but they just consider him as a God that could restore the earth, which points out the element of Judaism that is in them, as they presently await for a messiah to restore Jerusalem. So where is God in heaven during the time of Jesus? They are forgetting that he is an eternal being, and that there is no origin of God that we can comprehend, so it must be a transcending image of God that came to earth in the flesh.

Stephen, in the book of acts, was one of the seven deacons who tried to clarify who Jesus was to the crowd, and some of them simply questioned him on how there can be three Gods but one. He preached to them in the city of Jerusalem, where the ancient Jews resided to come out of the temple of Judaism and to escape the threat of the Roman Empire. But nontrinitarians must come to know the true Jesus, who did not fall from heaven, but he took the penalty for sin by obeying the father who dwells in heaven. So there is no such thing as three different Gods but three beings — the father, son, and the holy spirit — that are a representation of one God That concludes that there is no polytheism in the trinity, but monotheism is being argued on both sides. It is important to remember that God is preexistent, and that nontrinitarians are leaving out the existence of heaven, where the earth to them wold be at oneness with God. So there has to be a father who occupies heaven to fulfill the purpose of the son, which is to be the body of God.
