Faith (Part 2)

We can determine what it is that we've been Believing for by the types of things we see manifesting in our lives, as worship leaders. All that we have accomplished (and all we have not accomplished) is a direct result of all that we've been believing for.

You can tell a lot about what a person is believing for by the things they do, the things they get involved with, the things they accept, and the things they reject, the people they surround themselves by, the types of things they listen to, the places they go, and not to mention the the things that they settle for.

Some of us want to believe God for forward-mobility, but at the same time, we keep the default mode of our Faith on comfort mode. The problem is we "believe" so much in the stability of the level we are at now, we don't want to work hard to consciously shift our thinking to a deeper level of faith for the things we really want.

If we are believing God to accomplish certain things as worship leaders and in our spiritual growth, then we should be actively working towards those things in a manner that becomes evident by the fruit of what our lives and our worship bear.

And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him. (Hebrews 11:6 NIV)
