Holy Ghost Baptism is the infilling of the Spirit of God in a born again. One who is not born again can’t be filled with the only ghost. The Holy Spirit of God is exclusively for the children of God. The new birth is the qualification for the baptism of the Holy Ghost.

In the name of Jesus the Christ, receive understanding in the knowledge of the baptism of the Holy Ghost today.

What is baptism?
The word baptism is the Greek word “baptizo” which means to overwhelm. That is to swallow up completely.
And it came to pass in those days, that Jesus came from Nazareth of Galilee, and was baptized of John in Jordan. 10 And straightway coming up out of the water, he saw the heavens opened, and the Spirit like a dove descending upon him:

Jesus was completely immersed in water at water baptism that he had to be seen coming out of the water. He wasn’t sprinkled with water neither was water poured on him. He was dipped completely in water.
For one to be completely swallowed up during baptism is so significant that baptism was only carried out where there was much water.
And John also was baptizing in Aenon near to Salim, because there was much water there: and they came, and were baptized.

John was baptizing in Aenon because there was much water there. Not because he wanted to baptize. He wouldn’t baptize where the water will not cover up the person.
What is Holy Ghost Baptism?
Holy Ghost baptism is the infilling of the Spirit of God in man by the Holy Ghost to the point where it overwhelms the spirit of man.
It is the complete wrapping of the human spirit by the Spirit of God. At Holy Ghost baptism, the spirit of man is completely enveloped by the Spirit of God.
Then Samuel took the horn of oil, and anointed him in the midst of his brethren: and the Spirit of the LORD came upon David from that day forward. So Samuel rose up, and went to Ramah.

When David was anointed, the Spirit of the LORD enveloped him. The Spirit of God covered him up and became his protection from that day forward. This is the reason why Saul couldn’t catch up with him. David was always a step ahead of Saul in everything.
That is your portion from today. No evil pursuer will ever catch up with you anymore in the name of Jesus Christ.
THE NATURE OF HOLY GHOST BAPTISM
The Holy Ghost of which we are baptized with is a Spirit. He is not physical and as such His works are mostly spiritual.
Holy Ghost baptism is the enveloping of our spiritual body with the Spirit of God.
There is a natural body, and there is a spiritual body.
1 Corinthians 15:44 (KJV)
It is our spirit (spiritual body) that is completely covered up by the Holy Ghost during Holy Ghost baptism it is not our body. Our body doesn’t partake of the baptism of the Holy Ghost beside the manifestation of the completed baptism.
To be baptized with the Holy Ghost means to have our spirit completely covered with the Holy Ghost. No part of you is exempted from the covering of the Holy Ghost.
You aren’t seeing what I’m seeing.
One who is baptized with the Holy Ghost can’t be successfully assaulted by anything. Every attack on one who is baptized with the Holy Ghost is an assault on the Holy Ghost.
You must get through the Holy Ghost first before you can get to the man who is baptized with the Holy Ghost.
The Bible said in Isaiah 59:19;
…When the enemy shall come in like a flood, the Spirit of the LORD shall lift up a standard against him.
The Holy Spirit you are baptized with shall lift up a defense against any enemy that comes against you.
At the baptism of the Holy Ghost, a child of God loses his freedom to the dictates of the Holy Spirit.
You are too defended to be attacked when baptized with the Holy Ghost. We aren't talking of defeat here.
Verily, verily, I say unto thee, When thou wast young, thou girdedst thyself, and walkedst whither thou wouldest: but when thou shalt be old, thou shalt stretch forth thy hands, and another shall gird thee, and carry thee whither thou wouldest not.

The Holy Ghost becomes our guide after baptism. This is where we become the sons of the kingdom.
A child of God enters the sonship class of the kingdom of God at Holy Ghost baptism. The appointment of a child of God to any kingdom responsibility starts at Holy Ghost baptism.
Now I say, That the heir, as long as he is a child, differeth nothing from a servant, though he be lord of all; 2 But is under tutors and governors until the time appointed of the father. 3 Even so we, when we were children, were in bondage under the elements of the world: 4 But when the fulness of the time was come, God sent forth his Son, made of a woman, made under the law, 5 To redeem them that were under the law, that we might receive the adoption of sons. 6 And because ye are sons, God hath sent forth the Spirit of his Son into your hearts, crying, Abba, Father. 7 Wherefore thou art no more a servant, but a son; and if a son, then an heir of God through Christ.

It is the Holy Ghost that differentiates a Christian from a non-Christian. A Christian who is not baptized with the Holy Ghost is vulnerable to the attacks of the enemy like non-Christians.
What happens to an unbeliever can happen to a Christian who is not baptized with the Holy Ghost. A Christian who is not baptized with the Holy Ghost is a child and is helpless.
It is by Holy Ghost baptism that we are empowered to become sons of the kingdom of God.
For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.
Romans 8:14 (KJV)
Only those who are led by the Spirit of God that are the sons of God, it is not those who have the spirit of God but those who are led by the Spirit of God.
Every child of God has the spirit of God from the new birth. But the spirit of God only begins to lead us after Holy Ghost baptism.
When we begin to follow the leading of the Holy Ghost, we become the sons of the kingdom of God.
Tomorrow we will be looking at: WHO IS THE HOLY GHOST.
Don’t miss it for anything.
It is important we know that only sons are qualified to be baptized with the Holy Ghost. If you are not born again, you can’t be baptized with the Holy Ghost.
This is an opportunity to be born again. To make Jesus the Lord of your life and be qualified for the baptism of the Holy Ghost, make the following prayer with me from the depth of your heart with all sincerity.
PRAYER OF SALVATION
Oh Lord God, I believe with my entire hearth in your son Jesus Christ. I believe He died for me and You raised Him from the dead. I believe He is alive today. I confess with my mouth that Jesus Christ is the Lord of my life from today. Through Him and in His name I have eternal life.
I am born again. Thank you, Lord. I am now a child of God. Praise God!

Therefore, I am the servant of the Holy Spirit of God to the fulfillment of the will of God on earth.
