The socialists see man as a social animal. His nature is sociable, according to some Management school of thought. This means he cannot do without co-habiting, living and interaction with other people. God, our Creator recognises this. He formed the woman as man's companion. Loneliness is undesirable; it kills, though, slowly. Christianity will never be a practical way of life, if it is practiced in isolation. Jesus did not pray that the apostles should be taken away from the world; rather, they should live there, though, as His ambassadors.

While in this world, the Bible charges us to be from the evils of the world. We must be sanctified and separated people, as holy and special ones (1 Peter 2:9). The present world system is evil, corrupt and untoward. We must save ourselves from it, so says God's counsel.

However, you have to know that there is a thin line demarcation between separation and isolation.
Isolation is being alone, while separation is being set apart. The extremism of separation is isolation! Many believers are seriously misplacing isolation for separation.

They live solitary lifestyles in everything, at home, workplace, neighbourhood and other places, in the name of being 'holy'. This is a gross error. In living holy life, you still have to impact your world. Jesus, the holier than the holiest, never lived in isolation. He interacted with different kinds and levels of people.
Social maturity of the Christian is entrenched in relating with others (believers or not) very well. Don't live the social life that negates the Word of God. Staying alone, walking alone, eating alone and doing all things alone can't help you to affect lives positively for Christ! It is a disservice to the Gospel!

PRAYER POINTS
1. Oh Lord, make me biblically sociable, in the right sense.
2. Oh Lord, help me to impact my world positively for You.
3. Lord, help churches everywhere never to be socially irresponsible in our different locations.

Good morning and happy weekend to you.
May every record of failure before us be erased by the precious blood of Jesus, in Jesus name Amen.
Call on Him when there is still time. No repentance in grave.
