Put on the full armor of God, so that you will be able to stand firm against the schemes of the devil.
Let's take a look at the life of our saviour Jesus. When he was born Satan used herod to become jealous and he tried to get Jesus killed. As soon as jesus was born again (baptised) Satan again swoops in to tear him down by tempted him when he is at his weakest. But Jesus stood his ground in faith of the heavenly Father and in keeping himself focused on the very purpose for which he came to earth. Satan even used scripture to persuade Jesus but nothing took him from the focus of our heavenly Father. Instead jesus used his authority and Satan fled. Jesus in these times is showing us that even at our weakest point where we feel we have nothing left, it's then God is at his strongest and will bring us out.
In all reality if the enemy couldn't keep himself from trying to tear down and rule the saviour of the world then we don't stand a chance of avoiding his works. But.. Stay calm because the bible says 365 times do not fear and if it says it that much, you can be sure that God is serious about the matter. For great is he that lives in me than he who is of this world. Satan will do what he can to intimidate us, shame us, humiliate us, he will fight so we don't succeed in our destiny. But don't be afraid our king, Lord, saviour, brother, friend defeated him when he died on the cross. Jesus said we'd do greater things than he did, and has given us authorities over the strong holds of the enemy. He knows we become a huge threat when he submit to God and resist him. So let's send him trembling and pray. say no to his tactics and his lies. They will not stand. Gods word promises the truth will always be brought to light. So no matter what is spoken against you, no matter what is done against you to bring you harm and destruction. Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding, for he will guide your path, and bless and honour you for your faithfulness. Speak life giving words over your life. Don't even entertain the lies from the enemy. The bible is full of life giving words, write them down, memorise them, stick them around your house, put them as reminders on your phone. Which ever way works for you. Your are more than a conqueror. A masterpiece. You were fearfully and wonderfully made. Praise Jesus.
Father I thank you for who ever is reading this. Lord I pray the words go forth and do the purpose for which they are sent. I pray you rise up within us confidence in you and your mighty hand. Lord stir up and hunger in us. Help us to stay strong in what your word says even when things get tough and storms are creeping in fast. in Jesus name amen.
