Sunday open thread: Which city should host the draft next year?

Excluding Detroit, what city would you like to see host the 2018 NFL Draft?

The NFL Draft is now just four days away. For the first time since 1960, the draft will take place in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. For the last two years, the NFL moved the draft from their comfy home at Radio City Music Hall in New York City, to Chicago.

Now it appears the league is considering changing it up every year. The Detroit Lions threw their hat into the ring for next year. Team president Rod Wood said at the owners meetings last month that he had proposed to the league to turn the Fox Theater in downtown Detroit into the next draft venue.

However, it looks like Detroit isn’t among the favorites to land next year’s draft. According to ESPN’s Field Yates, Dallas, Philadelphia, Kansas City and Green Bay are among the locations still in contention. But for hypothetical purposes, let’s ignore the favorites for today’s Question of the Day:

Excluding Detroit, which city would you like to see host the 2018 NFL Draft?

My answer: For selfish reasons, a draft in Los Angeles would be pretty nice, maybe outside on the boardwalk in Venice. Other than LA, why not give in to the sin and let Las Vegas host it?

Your turn.
