I am a very wise, intelligent, mature, open minded, honest person. However, I really need help understanding these two issues. I try not to pay attention too much but now really! Do you remember days of old TV, we had programs and commercials. Then they came out with cable at a cost. The privilege of watching TV without commercials. Have you noticed that now there are as many commercials on cable as there are on regular TV. I realize they do have cable station without commercials that cost extra. Depending upon where you live you need paid cable to get reception. Of course recently a button was pushed to give us digital. Then you had to buy a box to make that work. I do not know one person including me that the boxed TV's work thus no digital. Now who is the real customer here, or better yet who really is being served?

Okay next issue. Watching normal TV that you had to pay for the set, the cable if you have it yet who controls the commercials. Have you noticed that all the stations play the commercials at the same time preventing you from leaving a station during the commercial. Sometime the same commercial is playing on more than one station. Is this a form of control or what? Given this, the TV sets should be free along with the service which is a big business. Now if you ever wonder why your products cost so much now you know, they have to pay for those expensive TV ads. Think about Verizon who is in my mail everyday and on TV many times a day. Needless to ask who is being served, we pay for this harassment. Is something wrong with the picture? I need to know. Help!
