Why as a Man, You Should Lead, and How

Ever since the beginning of history, man has struggled enough to fight for everything: shelter, food, companionship. This gives us the idea that men are competitive and combative. Men are powerful and superior by nature. Hence, men should Lead.
I’m not saying that women should be inferior to men and that they were born to follow men in all aspects of life. Along with maturity comes the realization that independence is always desirable in men and women. However, for a relationship to grow and progress, I strongly believe that men should lead.

How should a man lead?

1. Take control.

Taking care of the situation goes hand in hand with being considerate. As what I’ve said earlier, you are both independent. Thus, you should still ask her what she wants and what she doesn’t. If she can’t decide, then that’s the time you need to be in control. Show her how manly enough you are that you are able to make decisions for her when she doesn’t know what to do. Women like that. They usually don’t want to do the thinking; they like surprises.

2. Be gentle.

When things go rough, calm down and take it slow. Don’t be too bossy yet don’t be like a pet. You need to understand her feelings as well. You must be mindful of your actions and her emotions. Women like being pampered and pleased. As a man, you should take the initiative to make her Feel Safe and secured.

3. Don’t be a jerk.

Along with being gentle, refrain from being a jerk. Monitor your actions and words. Women are very fragile and sensitive; a single mistake can make them cry. However, a simple hug and sign of appreciation will take her pain away. Show her some sweetness.

4. Make her feel safe.

Making her feel that she’s safe and secured is one way of saying “I’ve got control over the situation and nothing or no one can harm you.” Girls dig that, dude. To lead the relationship to a more committed one is by making her feel that you are protecting her from all possible danger.

5. Get physical.

Physical intimacy heightens emotional attachment. When you both start to get Physical, you’re taking the relationship to the next level. Once you do the first move, a possibility of greater emotional connection awaits. Hence, doing the first move and enhancing physical contact is in your hands; you should be the one leading her to you.

Leading the relationship is not taking her independence away; it means you’re serious about her. After all, why would you waste your time being in control if you’re just playing around with her?
