Poem: Abraham’s Slip

His Yearning feet moved swiftly
Passing over the night in her arms
The arm of a stranger
One a maid in his abode
Longing to fill the void of fatherhood
One he will later be called
As time told
His yearning feet moved swiftly
Just when she gave the order
From her fluid heart
An order she grieved for
After the seed came forth
A seed, as a religion
One brought by haste
For the pact of spousal joy.
