57% of those surveyed opted for treating their loved one to a magical night in as their favourite thing to do on Valentine’s day.
The Notebook was Voted as the best movie to watch on the most romantic night of the year at 19%, followed closely by Bridget Jones Diary at 18% and Bridesmaids at 12%.
Sushi and Garlic bread were voted as the two worst foods to eat on a romantic night in at 31% and 23% respectively with Pizza, Spicebags and Indian food voted as the best foods to order on Valentine’s.
Almost 30% of those surveyed voted Chrissy Teigen and John Legend as the most magical celebrity couple. Also Proving Popular were our very own Brian O’Driscoll and Amy Huberman, followed by Portia di Rossi and Ellen DeGeneres.
Chris Hemsworth and Jamie Dornan were voted as the perfect Valentine’s Dates with 29% and 22% of the vote, closely followed by Hollywood’s leading ladies Margot Robbie and Emma Stone.
Powerscourt Waterfall in Wicklow was voted as one of Ireland’s most loved up locations, with Killarney Lakes and Dun Laoghaire pier also proving popular.
Respondents voted “Can’t help Falling in Love with You” by Elvis Presley at their favourite Valentine’s Day love song.
