Data Security news has been in the spotlight lately, and with good reason. From the public cloud to the private cloud and everything in between, customers trust us to keep their data secure. We are seriously enthusiastic about cloud security and we are extremely pleased to learn that Intuit shares that enthusiasm. So today we are delighted to tell you that Porticor has been acquired by Intuit.
While this is the end of one chapter, it’s the beginning of a much bigger story for Porticor. We’re excited about this news for many reasons. Mostly, Intuit shares our deep commitment to customers and our passion for protecting their data.

I’ve known about and admired Intuit for many years and I couldn’t think of joining forces with a better, more respected company. Working together, we have a tremendous opportunity to lead the industry with our breakthrough technology to solve tomorrow’s security challenges. With Intuit’s reach, we will have the opportunity to deploy our technology at a scale we couldn’t have achieved on our own. And together we’ll provide security in the cloud for millions of Intuit customers.

Intuit first became interested in Porticor because they felt our pioneering cloud security and our technology was unique. As the teams got to know each other, the business relationship developed into a close bond of trust and a mutual belief that we could deliver even greater things together. As we’ve worked together I’ve come to learn that we share similar beliefs in terms of values, vision, devotion to customers and creating groundbreaking technology that changes the lives of millions of customers. The more we learned, the more we knew this was the right step for everyone.

I would like to thank our investors, Lazarus Israel Opportunities Fund, who really made a difference in an intense startup scene.
