Secret handshake

Tags: letter eagles

I'm not physically artistic enough to come up with one. Suzy says she's not coordinated enough to perform one. So the next best thing I could come up with is the number 13. Several of us have it on our t-shirts. And I ran across theis wacky stuff on a biblical site that I don't understand and am most likely misinterpreting:

Patterns of 13 in the Great Seal
13 Stars in the constellation above the eagle's head. The constellation forms a Star of David.
13 Stripes in the eagle's shield made of 6 red and 7 white stripes.
13 Arrows by the eagle's left talon.
13 Leaves on the Olive branch in the eagle's right talon.
13 Letters in E Pluribus Unum. The letter counts of 1, 8, and 4 spell Echad (One).
13 Letters in Annuit Coeptis divided into 6 Letters and 7 Letters.
13 Levels in the unfinished pyramid.

So it seems like if you take the Founding Fathers, add in some math, some philosophical mystery, and some Letter games, you get 13 (I've read though that the right answer is 42). Doesn't that sound like us? If this off-topic hacking is unacceptable to any of you, take it down!
