Washington, DC Council Member Jack Evans's (D) House was searched by the FBI after the disclosure of a memo that he knowingly violated ethics rules. Evans has been Facing a probe into financial dealings.

Petitioners would need approximately 5200 signatures (10% of registereds).  Evans has been in office for 28 years.
