Rep. Maxine Waters thanks the United Methodist Church for bringing church charges against Attorney General Jeff Sessions over the zero tolerance policy, saying, “kick him out in the name of the Lord.”
Waters tweeted: “Thank you to the 640 UM church members for bringing charges against AG Jeff Sessions for his immoral attack on families and children in the name of the Bible. Separating children from their parents demands an investigation by the church. Kick him out in the name of the Lord!

The United Methodist Church membership brought charges against Sessions, accusing him of child abuse, immorality and other offenses for the Trump administration policy of separating children, some toddlers and babies, from their parents at the US border. News broke yesterday that hundreds of toddlers and babies separated from their parents at the border as being detained in “tender age shelters” (also known as baby jails).
