Budget: Osinbajo Writes National Assembly, Seeks Virement Of N135.6bn

BEVERLY HILLS, July 20, (THEWILL) – The Acting President, Prof Yemi Osinbajo has submitted a virement proposal of N135.6bn to the National Assembly.

The money is meant to cover projects in the Ministry of Power, Works and Housing as well as other Ministries, Departments and Agencies, MDAs.

The request of the acting president was contained in a letter, which stated that N3.1bn will be re-allocated from the ministry of works and housing; N33bn from the ministry of transportation; N14bn from the office of the secretary of the government of the federation; N5bn from the office of the national security adviser, and N5bn from the ministry of science and technology.

Also, N3bn will be vired from the ministry of defence; N3bn from the federal capital territory administration, and N 1bn from the ministry of health.
