It looks as if Amanda Bynes has been attending the Lindsay Lohan School of Disillusioned Career Advancement. The star of film and TV has set up an impressive timeline of career high points rivaled only by her schools’ namesake.

From The Amanda Show ( on family friendly Nickelodeon) to such cinematic epics as Love Wrecked and She’s the Man to Easy A (on the big screen). She has set her sights on the ultimate of prize for graduates of the Lindsay Lohan School of Disillusioned Career Advancement…a criminal record.

 

The 26-year-old actress was arrested around 3 a.m. Friday in West Hollywood when, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department, they saw Bynes attempt to pass a patrol car making a right turn hitting the police car. Deputies who were on scene to arrest Bynes suspected that she was drunk at the time.

Bynes is being held on $5000 bail.

Well Amanda, it must be exceedingly easy to succumb to peer pressure…especially being one of the top in your graduating class from such an esteemed institution.

I guess you didn’t think about all of your underage fans when you decided to drive drunk. I guess you didn’t think about what could happen to you if you drove drunk. I guess you didn’t think about what kind of example you are setting when you drove drunk.

Most of all…it is painfully apparent that you didn’t think about all the lives you could have hurt when you decided to drive drunk. Some people eventually learn this lesson. Some people go on to lead positive productive lives. Let’s hope you are one in that group.
