It's over folks. . .get over it, and now it is time to move on. The hypocrisy of the Left is as usual stunning, in having reviled Donald Trump for simply stating that he would await the election to decide if he would accept its outcome, or challenge any aspect of it. Now the election is over, a clear victory for Trump under all of the legal standards which exist for election as President under the Constitutional Electoral College system, and the left is having a hissy fit, demanding Trump not be President, demanding that duly empowered electors in the Electoral College vote against the outcomes in their states, all the while sponsoring and tolerating violence, rioting, and generally not encouraging sane behavior. The left apparently, as in all else, thinks it is exempt from the rules that it lays down for everyone else. Obama, Hillary, and all those on the left who could encourage sanity and a stand down from anarchy are silent.
Now is the time to go back to the words of JFK and look to what we can do for the country, and that should not be defined by violence, anarchistic conduct, property damage, physical attacks of those who you disagree with, nor any other unlawful acts.
The victory of Donald Trump repudiates the left in its entirety. Was he the best possible candidate, no. Was Hillary a good candidate, no. But, its what we had to work with, and now will live with for the next four years. Do we want to do that in constant conflict, or give the man a chance to show whether he can do what he has promised during the campaign.
Both parties did not understand the depth of the anger of average Americans who felt betrayed by a government who lords over them, rather than works for them. I think Donald Trump was as surprised as anyone as the election results emerged. Middle class Americans are tired of being relegated to struggle, while the "elites" prosper on taxpayer dollars. The majority of Americans are tired of the minority tail wagging the dog, and while we spend billions on foreign aid for hostile nations, refugees who don't appreciate what we do offer, and welfare for the able but unwilling to work, while struggling middle Americans barely get by. Middle America is sick of ridiculous financial rewards to legislators which they vote themselves, while average folks 401Ks dwindle, incomes stagnate, and they watch the Washington gang living high on a hog they are paying for. We can give billions to nations which vote against us continually in the UN, but we cannot take care of our veterans with health care needs. We can fund bringing thousands of refugees to America and giving them full support while we have homeless veterans on the streets nor can Americans who paid into their Social Security for decades even get a cost of living increase on that small payback of their money. American's are tired of taxes hidden in regulations, laws and mandates from the pen of an ideologue president.
Estimates as high was 30-40 million exist trying to identify illegal aliens in America, this includes those who came legally and overstayed, or exceeded their visa limitations. We have to enforce our immigration laws as they stand until they are changed by Congress in due course. Trump proposes a rational plan for that. 1. Stop the flow across the open Mexican border with some type of restraint. 2. Deport all criminal (felon) illegals as soon as they can be located and rounded up. 3. Make a determination as to how to handle the illegals who are living here but not violating any laws but the immigration laws. We also need to protect American jobs by limiting working visas to only those skills that we cannot fill from our labor pool. Tech companies particularly have used this to get cheap labor well below the American market value, thus getting a windfall in profits. That needs to end. Now these things can change.

We as citizens now need to accept the election outcome, we need to rally behind our new President, and give him the opportunity to put up-or shut up. The left need to accept the fact that their day is over. The left and its liberal progressive philosophy, globalist views and elitism are no longer relevant. The main stream media has also lost its ability to be trusted as a provider of facts in our society, having betrayed itself as the partisans that they are in propounding the lefts views.
Our oldest and "best" media sources can no longer be considered if you want facts. My view is that the door is open for an existing media source, or alternatively a start-up to fill the gap of traditional journalism, without political bias entering in. Fox News is the closest to that in terms of reporting all sides, but they have a conservative lean, though it isn't overreaching as HuffPo, Washington Post, NYTimes, CNN, MSNBC and the other clearly left centric.
So, it is time for all Americans to decry the violent protests, accept the election results, drop the hypocrisy and start reuniting the nation that the Obama administration and the left have split apart on racial, economic, social and other grounds. We need to stop being hyphenated Americans. Just be an American, serve America's best interest, and give-not take from government. The result of that will be a smaller and less expensive Federal Government, we will be able to liquidate the national debt, and we will learn to live within the government's income.
The reduction of regulation, along with the reduction of the regulatory costs associated with it will also reduce the overall cost of government, and also increase the profitability of small business in America which now is overburdened with regulatory obligations which are often ineffective for any justifiable purpose and should be gone. Example of this will be the reinstatement of the Keystone Pipeline, and the completion of the Dakota pipeline, and other moves to energy independence so we can stop sending our hard earned dollars to the middle east to shoot back at us.
Freedoms under the Constitution come to mind under the Trump marquee as well. How many of you look back on your youth, and say "wow, if I did that today I would be arrested" over simple thing like walking down the road with your .22 rifle to go shooting; or even for matters of speech, being threatened with arrest for "hate" speech, which seems to be defined as what the left won't tolerate. Speech and thought crimes need to go away. We cannot pre-assume intent to enforce legal penalties.
The States will likely be left with many more freedoms as well. The Constitution delegates all but a few specific functions to the States. Over the years those have eroded and been co-opted by the federal government. We will see that change under Trump. Departments of the Federal Government will be de-funded and downsized (if not simply eliminated), forcing their withdrawal from many of the state functions. Education, Commerce, Energy, HUD, and Interior are among the intruders in the States rights, and that can be dialed back.
In conclusion-there is a new sheriff in town. Everyone might as well get used to that fact. Lets see if he can undo the damage of the Obama administration, and truly make America great again for all Americans.
