Three schools in Coimbatore sent in their students and staff to NALS Devashola campsite on Sunday 31st January 2010. Joining them were some of our Adventure Club Members. The day long program began with the participants arriving at the campsite at 9.30a.m. After a welcome cup of tea they immediately proceeded to the rocks. NALS  Instructors demonstrated techniques of rock climbing and briefed them about the safety measures. All the participants including the senior participants accomplished rock climbing under the individual supervision of the instructors. The particpants then proceeded on to the high rope activities. The children thoroughly enjoyed themselves and could not get enough of the fun. They all became great fans and friends with NALS instructors who had become the friendliest teachers they had ever met.


After a sumptuous vegetarian lunch the participants got involved in an experiential game which requires team work and problem solving skills.
The children reluctantly left the campsite at 4.30 p.m. in the evening. The particpants have noted their excitement in their words.
