This month has some fairly intense line-ups, that will be felt most strongly by people born on the cusp between signs. Libra - the peace makers of the zodiac
At the beginning there are 3 planets in the sign of Libra. Some of the most pleasant, easy to be with, charming, mellow and attractive people are born during this time. Libra’s are natural peace makers, negotiators and consensus seekers. Ruled by the lovely influence of Venus the Libra individual is lofty and has a natural need to create beauty and harmony.
The sign is symbolized by the Roman goddess Justitia, the blindfolded judge holding up the scales of balance. Balance is a tricky concept, as anyone who ever used the scales to measure anything can attest. The scales tip this way and that, back and forth. Likewise the Libra individual wants fairness and justice, and may have a hard time making up their minds. They are bright, intelligent and make keen judges and lawyers. The flipside to the cool thinking intellectual side of Libra is the creative, pie-in-the-sky, idealistic artist. Those have a fine eye for design, fashion, jewelry and can be found in related careers.
A major shift occurs after the New Moon on the 21st. Within 3 days Sun, Moon, Venus and Mars move away from peace loving Libra into the intense and deeply transformative sign of Scorpio. That’s going to rock the boat in more ways than one, watch out.

It’s the Harvest Moon the farmers used to work late and bring in their bounty. Here it falls on a Friday evening, with lots of heavy aspects for the fixed signs and no planets in the Earth element. A fun night for dating: there is high energy and passion, good for music and dancing.

Sun trines Neptune
A fine day for romance and for connecting with others. You will be extra intuitive and open to the unusual, mysterious and unexpected. Truth may be stranger than fiction, and the line between what’s real or Memorex a bit blurry.

Mars sextiles Saturn
Between here and the 19th there are lots of sextiles, which makes it easy to communicate, negotiate and see all sides of things. Today it’s easy to be assertive yet charming, and get cooperation from those in power and authority.

Venus trines Neptune
An excellent day to open your heart and let love in. “The door to your heart has only one handle, it’s on the inside.” You may feel tender, compassionate and too generous for your own good. Try to keep some tabs on your spending and appetites.

Mars sextiles Pluto, Mercury squares Neptune
Today you may feel motivated to achieve much and also feel a bit fuzzy around the edges. Make sure to speak clearly and see all sides of the coin.

This week brings lots of sextiles, as first the Sun, and later Venus travels between Saturn and Pluto. Good for progress and negotiations in the political arena. On a personal level you can think ahead, set new goals and reinvent your business.

New Moon 29* Libra
Late night there is a line up that includes the polarities of Sun & Moon, Venus & Mars. Good for alchemy, magic and getting married. Some inner marriage is taking place, a sacred doorway to the union of opposites.

Oct 22
Mercury conjuncts Jupiter, Sun conjuncts Mars
Good for fun and games, lots of physical energy, enjoy sports and intellectual pursuits.

Oct 23
Mercury squares Saturn, Sun and Mars enters Scorpio
Communication may be challenged today, everything feels put on hold as the two yang planets are changing gears. Expect a push towards assertiveness, power seeking and control.

Oct 24
Venus enters Scorpio, Venus conjuncts Mars
Expect some sparks to fly as the gods of love and war get together in the early part of passionate Scorpio. A fine time for recommitting to your loved ones, so feel invited to go deep and deeper still.

Jupiter squares Saturn
Take the high ground, move slowly and deliberately in negotiations, there is no rush.

Oct 27
Sun conjuncts Venus
Love rules today and your inner professional will also make an appearance. No need to choose one over the other.

Mercury retrograde
This is your opportunity to dress up as someone from the past. Dig out and recycle some old costumes, or resurrect your favorite past life.

Neptune stations direct
This adds a dreamy vibe to the Halloween weekend that makes it easy to play tricks and be deceived by appearances.

Oct 30
Mercury retrograde conjunct Jupiter
Called a collision curse aspect, retrograde Mercury backs into the heavyweight. Look out for issues to pop out of closets, realign yourself with the higher purpose and meaning.
