So, has it been exciting enough for you lately? Emotional roller coasters, revelations, too much inner turmoil? The transit of half the solar system though Scorpio is about to wane, relief is on it’s way. One by one all five of the personal planets Sun, Mercury, Venus, Mars and Jupiter are shifting into happy-go-lucky Sagittarius. This makes it easier to look at the big picture, to let go of emotional attachments, and outmoded belief systems. The is more optimism, cooperation and ‘thoughts create reality’ potential for rapid change.

Sagittarius
Some of the most graceful change agents of the Zodiac are born at this time. Always seeking beyond the fences of ’normal’ perimeters, the Sag is driven to explore. Some say the first half of the sign is more philosophical, it corresponds to the human torso of the centaur. The second half of the sign is driven by strong passions and instinct, symbolic for the horse part of the centaur.
All Sagittarians are known for their mobility. They get around, enjoy travel and often live far away from where they were born. Many great philosophers, seekers, gamblers, adventurers and risk takers are born under the sign. There is a need for personal space and freedom, along with a conflicting need of closeness and intimacy. Sag has more on again/off again or long distance relationships than any other sign. Ruled by the magnanimous planet Jupiter there is a jovial ‘live and let live’ attitude that seeks to empower and illuminate the self and others. Sag’s are anti-authoritarian, free thinkers and often autodidacts. They are multi talented, have a fun sense of humor and make great teachers and entertainers.

Saturn SR, Mars enters Sag
Saturn’s station going retrograde indicates a reality check, or gestation period in business and money matters. Mars in the sign of the centaur is frisky and adventurous, looking for a good time.

Venus trine Saturn
On a more somber note here you’re reminded of responsibilities and commitments, especially to loved ones.

Venus conjunct Pluto
Adds fuel to the fire of steamy passions. There is much intensity, and it’s easy to get carried away. This aspect is not for the faint at heart, the courageous can go on blind dates with Scorpios.

Sun sextile Neptune, Mercury conjunct Mars
There is much incentive for truth talking today. Hear each other out and express yourself with radical honesty and integrity.

Dec 10
Mercury conjunct Jupiter, Venus enters Capricorn
The first two will make you extra idealistic. Venus in Cap is known for resiliency and perseverance.

Dec 11
Mars conjunct Jupiter
This powerful mix urges expansion at all costs, it widens the inner horizons. Good for outdoor adventures and athletics.

Mercury squares Uranus
Think outside the box or multi task today. It will be hard to focus on one thing only and much easier to go with the flow.

Sun trines Saturn
Focus ahead, write a business plan for the next few years, or make an explicit wish list. Thoughts create reality, don’t be shy about it.

Sun conjunct Pluto
Egos may be a bit pumped-up these days, so deflate them voluntarily to avoid conflicts. Good for healing, transformational work, keen insights into the unconscious realm.

New Moon 29* Sagittarius
A good time for setting new goals, envision the next year, surrender the past, or let go of any unfinished business. Emotionally it’s a volatile time with Moon and Venus OBB (out of bounds declination) which means temperamental and mischievous.

Sun enters Capricorn, Mars square Uranus, Winter Solstice
This sets the tone until spring. It indicates a dynamic time for connecting with others, expansion and change. With lots of activity in cardinal/mutable signs it pays to be active, decisive and mobile.

Mercury trines Saturn
This is a fine weekend to bridge the generation gap. Grandparent, parents and kids all have much to say to each other this holiday, so enjoy the change in perspective. Also good for long distance phone calls and reaching out to people you’ve not been in touch with for a while.

Mercury conjunct Pluto
As above, only more so. Good for deep conversation and sharing from the heart.

Dec 26
Mercury enters Capricorn
Coming back to rhyme and reason, after all the drama and emotional turmoil of the last month it’s about time to start making sense of it all.

Dec 31
Mars sextile Neptune
The end of the year comes with sensitivity and tenderness. Imagination is running high, people are more intuitive and dreamy, which may mean get carried away partying. Lively get-togethers, long conversations in mixed company bring in the New year with panache and style.
