Bangalore, June 17 : Karnataka Transport Minister R Ashok today said the department would Issue Smart Cards for simplification of traffic rules with all data related to Driving License and vehicles, on June 25.
Talking to reporters here, he said the smart cards would be issued to make it easy for the people to carry a single document, instead of carrying various documents like driving license and R C Book while travelling.
''The card will carry all the details regarding driving license and ownership of vehicles", he said.
The new system was being implemented following instructions from the Centre, he said.
The smart card will cost Rs 200.
