Ferdinand Udoh was the Referee of the Year; Lagos was named the Best Sport Loving State of the Year. The Akwa Ibom State Governor, Udom Emmanuel developed as the Sport Governor of the Year.

In the media classification, Austin Okon-Akpan of the Channels Television wins the TV grant; Wale Adigun ran home with the Radio honor while Tana Aiyejima of the Punch was delegated as Football Journalist of the Year in the Print Media.
