Okay, this one of those things that irritates me to no end! There's this Church that says God is punishing the military for defending a country that "harbors gays." That's so screwed up I can't think of anything to say. This is oone of those "God hates gays!" churches that make the rest of us sane, Christian, church-goers look like lunatics. As for me, and many other Christians, I believe that God Hates sin. He has to hate sin because he's holy. I don't believe he hates anybody, just the things they do. Also, if there's a person who isn't a believer, how can you expect them to adhere to the same moral code as we do? I know, some Christians have no problem with gay people. (I have a problem with them being ordained ministers) But to attack the MILITARY for "defending a country that harbors gays" (like they are some kind of militant, terrorist faction) is absolutely ludicrous! No matter what feelings you have towards gay America, I think we can all agree that this church's claim is indefensible and illogical. Who comes up with this stuff???
