0ld Vicarage Christchurch Wedding Dorset – R & A

A glorious Wedding photography day back in the Spring 2017 at the most wonderful Old Vicarage, Hinton, Christchurch where I have had the pleasure of being commissioned so many times now over the recent years. This particular wedding stands out as the bride and groom were very keen on using many of the aspects of the surroundings for their 15-20 minutes of bride and groom photos and also very keen to get some sunset shots and night time effects. They loved the whimsical style and had some great details in the day, and I especially liked the unique table plan. The day started off with bride prep at a different location then onto the day itself at the Old Vicarage. I was really pleased to be able to use my skills to produce my own lighting for the day as the day was very overcast at times and gave a great flattering flat and diffused light, but lacked any kind of drama or atmosphere and visual interest. Directional lighting can if used correctly really produce images that will always stand out against those without, but it is important to mix up the lighting and produce more than one style on the day for the final result.
