Everyone has heard of the seven wonders of the world, but Oregon has it's own set of wonders. I have visited most of them, but had not been to the Painted Hills since I was a kid. We traveled there and I got to take in the beauty myself. This was the view from a point off the access road that I wandered down to in order to escape the crowds of people at the overlook. Here we could stand and take in the scenery in peace.
