Hey everyone! Today I’ll be sharing with you a super quick tutorial on how you can change any Colour into any other colour in Adobe Photoshop. This can come in handy when the colour of your model’s dress is over-powering the overall theme of the image or it doesn’t match the vibe at all.

So, let’s dive into it.

Create Hue/Saturation Adjustment Layer

Open your image in Photoshop. On the right-hand side panel, at the bottom, you’ll see a button like this,

Click on this button and select Hue/Saturation option. This creates a Hue/Saturation Adjustment Layer. See that hand below the Preset? Select it and then move the hand over your image and place it on the outfit or any place whose colour you wish to change.

Create colours of your choice

Now that the colour is selected, you can turn it to any other colour by adjusting the levels of Hue, Saturation and Lightness. To make sure that the colour is selected properly and evenly, spread the bars on the rainbow colour lines you see.

Move the slider of Hue to get different colours and move the saturation slider to adjust how saturated the colour should be. By meddling with these 3 sliders you can create any colour of your choice to replace the original one.
