Ladycat War Zone #23. “Forest’s runners”

Tonight I dreamed the forest from above, dodging with you the crimson and traitorous trajectories of humanity.
Perhaps the forest is the embryo of a dream of a stillborn child of another place.
It’s not just our place and we’re imagining it and building it for it to have the chances we have never had.
It is a possible world for a future somewhere else that still does not exist or maybe we can not see it.
We have to.
Maybe they’ll break us down, or we’ll finally be home, I do not know, we’ll run between the flare and the fire flames of the camp, not alone.
And sooner or later I will come in and I will not come out anymore.

I can see your inlaid shape on the sparkling blue of the deep blue sky, your warm profile that pierces the tangled mudslides of the morning mist, a burning butterfly from the blackened rainbow wings of a unborn child lost or perhaps just sleeping in a dream of a blind dreamer who flies above the sacking metal armor and the Maya veil of this partial reality.
And we run and run together again, with a wailing, without a strange cry or affection, with no visible noise or footprint, without a name and a definitive line, with a peaceful disillusionment and deep faith, search and discovery, the true essence of the forest runners.
